Life is... strange, to say the least. We're faced with a myriad of problems and situations in which we are inexperienced and forced to overcome everyday of our lives. Picture your life as a huge tree trunk and the choices you make in your life as an axe cutting into this tree, your life. Though the tree will never wilt or fall until your time, these choices or 'axe cuts' will determine which way you will lean and ultimately how you will fall. The metaphor i am really trying to illustrate is that with each problem we face in our lives the more perspective we have, and the more perspective we have the more we subconsciously change how we think and feel about things. When this happens and you realise what is happening, you are very much caught at a crossroad, where an internal battle is fiercely fought. Then to further the confusion of the battle there may be another incident where your perspectives are dramatically turned around, you may find out that your friend betrayed you or something is happening in your family.
It doesn't really matter the cause, because each person (having an even more different perspective that the person before) will interpret something completely different to what you or any other person would, from any given situation. This situation could, like mentioned before, completely flip your view or attitude towards something that you felt strongly about before, and cause your feelings or objective to become blurred and impaired.
We're faced with decisions, situations, scenes and stories that make us become aware of something we, before, didn't know. They scare us to some degree and will have a lasting effect on how we see the next problem or confrontation.
No one stays the same. No one will be there forever, and neither will you. Don't fret about change. Be the one to make it happen.
"Without change there is no innovation, creativity or incentive for improvement. Those who initiate change will have a better opportunity to manage the change that is inevitable" - William Pollard
